Easy Orange Ice Cream

Ingredients:

50ml or 3 tbsp + 1 tsp of orange juice, freshly squeezed
2 cups of milk
½ cup of sugar
1 cup of whipping cream
1 tsp of orange essence
3-4 drops of orange food coloring

Ingredients:

50ml or 3 tbsp + 1 tsp of orange juice, freshly squeezed
2 cups of milk
½ cup of sugar
1 cup of whipping cream
1 tsp of orange essence
3-4 drops of orange food coloring
How to Make It:
Step 1

Cut the oranges into wedges and press them into a measuring cup, you will need around 3 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon of the juice.  The milk and sugar should be added to a saucepan that has been placed over medium heat, and they should be thoroughly combined.
Bring the ingredients to a boil, then turn the heat down just a bit and stir the mixture until it has reduced by about a third and is bubbling.

Turn off the heat, let it cool completely, and keep stirring until smooth and thick. Pour the orange juice into the milk mixture to avoid a curdled texture, then mix them together until well combined, and set it aside.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, add the whipping cream, then whisk until frothy, and add the milk mixture to the whipped cream followed by the orange essence and orange food coloring.

Mix together until soft peaks form, then transfer it to a baking dish and spread it evenly. Cover it with the lid, then place it in the freeze, and let it sit for about 8 to 10 minutes or until set and frozen.

Scoop the ice cream into serving bowls, then serve, and enjoy!

Juicy Apple Cake

Ingredients:

2lb apples
1/2 cup flour
1 oz brown sugar
1 oz butter
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
 2 tbsp. lemon juice
Pinch Cinnamon
How to Make It:
Peel and grate the apples. Cut them into thin circles or slices using a grater.
Put the apples in a bowl, pour the juice of half a lemon over them, and sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon and 1-2 tbsp. brown sugar. Mix well.

Using a mixer, beat the eggs with 4 tbsp. brown sugar until foamy. Gradually and slowly pour the milk and the melted and slightly cooled butter.
Add the flour in portions.

Pour the mixture over the apples and homogenize everything well.
Line a form with a detachable ring with baking paper. Pour the apples and the liquid into it. If you wish, you can arrange them in rows.

Shake the form slightly. Bake the apple pie at 360°F  in a preheated oven until nicely browned or about 30-35 minutes.

Remove the finished juicy apple cake from the oven, release the form from the ring, and transfer it to a wire rack to cool.
Sprinkle the apple cake with powdered sugar.
